RULES

- Talent Oxford is open to five to 18 year old Oxfordshire school children

- We welcome any sort of talent

- Any act that arrives late of their alloted audition time will be automatically disqualified

- Audition slots are strictly limited to four minutes per act. The act is timed from the first movement, gesture, utterance or musical sound in any variety category

- Due to health and safety regulations, baton twirlers or similar acts using batons, machetes, knives, etc., will not be accepted. Similarly no fire, smoke or smoke-effect will be accepted

- Acts are responsible for their own props and costumes. Although complete costumes and props are not necessary for auditions, the more complete and polished an act is at the audition stage, the greater the chance it will have of getting into the contest.

- Organisers reserve the right of final decision on any matters pertaining to Talent Oxford Contest not covered by the rules

- Selected acts are responsible for rehearsing and polishing their individual or group act

- All participating contestants must have a parental consent form signed and dated by a parent/legal guardian. Failure to comply will result in disqualification


TIPS

- Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your audition time

- Please ensure that you are fully prepared and well rehearsed ahead of your audition

- It's a good idea to get a good nights sleep so that you're feeling fresh at your best ahead of the audition

- Bring a bottle of water and snacks with you

- Remember, with only five minutes to impress the judges make the most of it!
